We have recently started stocking a new eight foot long dog ramp. The part number for this dog ramp is the DR-08. We decided to start selling this 96″ long aluminum dog ramp mostly because of the high demand from our customers for a ramp longer than the 7′, which used to be the longest pet ramp available. The DR-08 has comes fully equipped with all the standard features. For instance, since the ramp is manufactured out of aluminum it is designed to last for years because aluminum does not rust. Not only that but because it is made of aluminum the total weight of the ramp is very minimal(26lbs). The fact that it is so light weight makes this extra long 8′ dog ramp ideal for assisting pets into higher spaces while not sacrificing the ramp’s ability to be portable. Speaking of portable, the DR-08 is a folding ramp too. It will fold the length in half and allow you to carry it with it’s built in “suitcase” style handle.
UPDATE: a New 18.25″ wide, 8 foot long dog ramp has been announced and will be available in mid-May 2007- part # DR-08XW. This will be the longest, widest dog ramp available anywhere!
