The snap hooks in these kits are coated, and the hardware bathed in a zinc coating to make it last a lifetime. Each strap has built in soft loops that prevent scratching. Also, these motorcycle tie-downs have a 1200 pound breaking point. The Discount Ramps model number for the first of the three ties down tie-kits from Black Widow is BW-STRAP-RC. This kit’s tie-downs are 1 inch wide snap hook straps mainly used for pick-up trucks and trailers. This kit comes in four pieces, with two ratcheting straps and two cap straps. The second of the three kit’s model number is BW-STRAP-R. The “R” at the end stands for ratchet because all four of the tie-downs are the ratchet straps. Like the first kit, these straps are 1 inch wide by 7 foot long straps. The final kit offered by Discount Ramps and Black Widow is model number BW-STRAP-C. The “C” at the end of the model number stands for, you guessed it(!), cam straps. All four of the 7 foot long by 1 inch wide tie-downs are cam straps. No one wants to get hurt while hauling their favorite toys, much less have them damaged, making these kits convenient, dependable, and, most importantly, safe! These kits, with their built in soft loops, mean there’s no more losing separate pieces to your tie-downs, making them very convenient. The zinc-coated ratchets and cams prevent corrosion, and a vinyl coating helps to maximize strap life, while making them dependable. The soft loops prevent metal-to-metal hardware contact, or plastic contact, with the bike. This means eliminating damage from the wear of the hooks accidentally coming loose. Furthermore, the 1200 pound break limit provides piece of mind that these straps will never come apart.
