The Thule Double Track 990XT hitch-mounted rack has a tray-style design, which allows it to sit real low to the ground; this means very little lifting for you when loading and unloading your bicycles. The all-steel construction of this double bike rack gives you maximum durability and safety when in use. Over all, this bike rack system is safe and easy to use and is compatible with most bike styles, including cruisers with fenders and children’s bikes. The versatile Doubletrack is easy to store when you’re not carrying bikes; an integrated lever (hitch switch) lets you fold your bike rack flat against the rear of your vehicle.

Having been designed with a tray style in mind, the Double Track 990XT can transport bikes in all shapes, sizes, heights, suspension, and disc brakes. From skinny one inch road bike tires to thicker 3 inch mountain bike tires, the bike tray will accommodate all widths and sizes. Separate wheel hoops adjust and eliminate handlebar to seat contact when using bikes with 48 inches or shorter wheelbases. The Thule two bike rack’s wheel trays, that are reinforced, slide along platforms to discharge bike to bike contact. The adjustable hooks in this rack move independently to safely grip and stabilize each bike — very quick and safe. A quick release level folds the rack up when you are not using it make parking a breeze. This dual bicycle rack kit also features the Stinger Swinger, which allows this hitch rack to fit both 1.25 inch and 2 inch receiver hitches. Ratcheting cradle arms slide down onto the bicycle’s frame, and straps secure each wheel and tire.

This lightweight dual hitch carrier will carry two bikes with wheelbases up to 46.5 inches long, will fit wheels 20 inches to 29 inches, and tires up to 3 inches wide. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the curved bracket measures 7.5 inches, and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar is 11.5 inches. This versatile bike rack is made in the USA and comes with a manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty.

The Thule One-Key system is compatible with this item, but sold separately. The One-Key system gives you two lock cylinders with a key to lock each bike.
