Discount Ramps is now proud to offer the Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak Carrier – item number 884. The 884 Roll Model centers and guides the kayak onto the rack. The Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak Roof Rack Carrier makes loading and unloading a kayak a breeze. The three piece 884 Roll Model works only with Thule square bar racks, and will not work with factory installed vehicle roof racks. Four touch points (aka the paddle saddles) offer you support and protection and make it easy for a single person to load their kayak. Included in this kit are two loaded straps with padded bucks and two QuickDraw bow stern tie-downs to provide complete kayak security and stability while being transported. The Roll Model was designed for Thule square roof rack systems only and will not work with factory racks.

The Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak carrier features an integrated rear roller designed to guide and ease kayaks up and onto the vehicle roof rack and kayak carrier system with only a single person. Protecting your vehicle and the boat from damage is a set of saddles that your kayak glides on to, and it offers maximum support and cradling for the boat. The low friction, felt-lined Thule Hydro-Glide rear saddle allows the boat to slide easily into place, and Thule’s adjustable set-to-go front saddles conform to the hull’s shape for maximum support. The rear facing rollers makes the loading process easier and supports up to 50 percent of the kayak’s weight. It also prevents keel contact with the load bar and protects the hull from being damaged while loading. This Roof mounted single kayak rack accommodates kayaks that are up to 36 inches in width, and the roller capacity is 75 pounds which means you can take pretty much any kayak with you.
