The Kolpin Throttle Buddy eliminates fatigue from sore thumbs after a long day on the trail by extending the throttle itself for easy reach. When you reduce fatigue in your hands you can ride safer and ride longer! This ATV Throttle buddy also acts as a throttle extender by increasing the leverage you have for a more precise throttle control. Kolpin found that if you have a more precise throttle control a more comfortable ride will come. The Throttle Buddy has an ergonomic design with a non-slip surface. Get relief for your sore thumbs and tired hands with the Kolpin Throttle Buddy! The customized setup and non-slip grip also help improve throttle control. The non-slip surface of the Throttle buddy helps your hands stay comfortable and in one place while riding eliminating the need to adjust and readjust your hands on the throttle.
Included in the Throttle Buddy installation kit is one mounting base, one thumb buddy, 2- 1/4 inch Truss head bolt, 2 – 1/4 lock nuts and 2 rubber caps. Installing/mounting the throttle buddy is easy – first you place the Thumb buddy over the existing throttle on your ATV, then place the Truss Head Bolt through the mounting base and tightening them enough to hold your Thumb Buddy to your throttle. The thumb buddy can slide outwards if you need more leverage. Once it’s properly positioned, you tighten the mounting base to your OEM throttle and place the rubber caps on the existing threads on the back side. We recommend that with the machine off, you check the function of the thumb buddy, and if there are clearance issues with the handle bar grips you may need to trim them to prevent a stuck throttle.
