Hello all, my name is Jane and I work at Discount Ramps in the purchasing department as Jeff’s assistant.  My job is to work with our manufactures to deliver the best quality product to our wonderful Discount Ramps customers.  I also view the purchasing department as having internal customers; these are my co-workers here at DRC.  My job is to work well with them and follow through on their requests of our vendors.  I love working in the purchasing department-every day comes with a new challenge to improve our company internally and externally.  I have never had one day the same as the last and I love the variety.

After finishing my degree in business management, I joined the team at Discount Ramps in May of 2011. I thoroughly love working here and this is truly a team effort; I always feel my opinion matters.  The team of managers that is in place here is a dream team, they are always looking to encourage ideas from their members to help the department grow in the right direction. This company really has no boundaries on growth, which is one of my favorite parts about working here. We truly have no walls to hold us back. We deliver a great quality product to our customers and we continue to grow in an economy that is not. I also enjoy being a part of a company that helps the disabled be more mobile in the world around them with our wheelchair ramps and wheelchair carriers.

Outside of work, I have been married for 22 years and have two wonderful girls ages 16 and 12.  We live on what has become quite a little hobby farm with horses, ducks, cats, rabbits, and of course, what farm would not be complete without a dog to chase everybody around–that is our Lola.  In our free time, we love to see this great country by way of camping with family and friends.  We have been as far east as Maine, as far west as Yellowstone, as far south as Missouri, and as far north as Canada with a lot of great places in between.  We feel the best way to teach our girls about North America is to experience it firsthand.
