Thank you for visiting Discount Ramps.Com’s Blog.  My name is Greg and I am the department lead in Shipping and Receiving.  I graduated from MATC-Madison in 2003 with an Associate’s degree in Fire Science.

I started my career with Discount Ramps.Com on a part time basis in 2008 working during the winter when my other job was on hold.  In November 2011, I joined the warehouse team as the lead shipping warehouse member.  I joined the team full time because I know that I can grow as a person and my career with Discount Ramps.  The crew that I work with is an exceptional group of individuals that make this a truly awesome place to work.

As an avid hunter, I enjoy the wide variety of hunting accessories that Discount Ramps.Com sells.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, Jackie, two sons, Cooper and Camden, and our newest family member, Bentley, who is a yellow lab puppy.  Discount Ramps.Com is a growing company and I am proud to be a part of this exceptional workplace.

Prior to joining Discount Ramps.Com as a web designer, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from UW-Green Bay and am currently finishing up a technical certificate in web design. I joined the Discount Ramps.Com team because it gives me the opportunity to work in a field that I love. One of my greatest influences is my grandmother who was manipulating and coloring photos by hand long before computers and Photoshop were prevalent. When not at work, I enjoy photography, reading, art, working on craft projects, and most importantly spending time with my family.

Customer Service – Michelle

Hi, my name is Michelle! I have been working in Customer Service for Discount Ramps.Com since May 2008.  I work directly with customers who call or email looking for information on orders, returns or if they have a problem. I also handle sales and shipping issues as well.

The best part of the position is the customers. It sounds cliche being a customer service rep, but they really are. I love being able to help resolve the problems or concerns of our customers. The greatest reward is the heartfelt thank you and appreciation the customer has for your help. I am so proud to be part of this company and what we are providing.

Outside of work I am a mother and a wife. My daughter just turned 4 and my husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We spend the majority of our free time together as a family. With my daughter’s endless energy and her spirited imagination, our time together is always an adventure. We’ll go on pirate ships to save a princess or racing zebras in Africa. Keeps things very interesting!

Purchasing Manager – Gus

As Purchasing Manager, I am responsible for purchasing new and existing foreign and domestic products as well as testing them.  I have been with Discount Ramps for 9 years. I think the best part about working in Purchasing is dealing with a variety of people and products.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Southern Illinois University and  have recently earned my Marine Charter Captains License. In my spare time I love boating, fishing, hunting, hanging out on the beach and playing and watching all types of sports.

The most enjoyable part of working at Discount Ramps are the people-we truly have a tremendous work team!
