The Yakima two or three bike rack includes high-quality, triple padded feet and powder-coated metal buckles to protect your vehicle from scratches, scuffs, and marks that could be made by other bike racks. The Quickback holds many different types of bike due to its unique universal ArchBack design. This trunk bicycle carrier’s tri-padded feet are made to fit on most SUV’s, cars, and hatchbacks with its Switchblade anti-sway cradles that eliminate bike to bike contact and the adjustment knobs for maneuvering the bikes at angles. The adjustment knob is used to fit the rack to many vehicle contour shapes and lines.
When you secure the Yakima bike rack, you use six securing straps (which are included) and feature coated, padded metal hooks to prevent scuffs and scratches. Each securing strap is labeled so you know where to place each one. To maximize the safety of this item, a steel reinforced strap slides directly into the trunk in case one of the straps fail. Glass hatch hooks are also included with either Quickback to secure the rack to a glass trunk or for gate mounted applications.
