The pickup truck bed extender has a square design that utilizes the tailgate’s space in the most efficient way. This gate can be installed in less than a minute and extends the truck’s bed to the end of the tailgate. If you use it inside the bed, it will divide whatever you are hauling and can be placed anywhere within the truck. This bed extender can be mounted against bulkhead for simple storage in the truck of the bed, or it can fold up and be stored behind the seat of your pick-up. Made from a light weight aluminum and polyurethane plastic, this truck bed extender will not rust or corrode. If your truck already has a tonneau cover like a Truxedo, Access, Extang Express and others, the extender will work inside of these rail mounted covers and clamps below the side rails. The Versa-gate adjusts to fit a variety of truck sizes and can work with beds 50 inches to 65 inches wide. It will easily transfer between trucks if you have two or more. We recommend you measure the depth of your bed and order a size that is a little shorter than your bed rail. The Versa-gate ramp will increase the cargo room safely and easily. The square design utilizes the space efficiency of the squared tailgate. The pickup bed extender secures below the trucks side rail using pressure clamps and hold down cables; this makes it compatible with the tonneau covers. To avoid damage, make sure the slots are lined up so the bed extender closes correctly.

This pick-up truck bed extender is easy to install, with no drilling or any special tools required — just your basic hand tools. Folded, this gate is 37 inches long and 15inches high; when it’s not folded it is 48 inches long and 15 inches high. Two expansion arms extend and give you 9.5 inches on each side. This gate does not have permanent mounting which means it can be transferred between two or more vehicles. Versa-gate bed extender quickly converts from a bed extender to a bed divider. We have sizes to accommodate every truck in stock. After purchasing, please let us know your truck size and model. When using the Versa-gate as a cargo divider, it works best when it’s used between the wheel wells. Small locks can be purchased and used with pressure clamps for security.
