The SpareTime features a two-bicycle capacity and works with most lug patters as an anti-sway cradle that keeps the bikes stable; the fold down arms, with integrated bottle openers, stow out of the way when not in use. Built specifically for use with vehicles that have spare tire mounts on the rear of the vehicle, the SpareTime from Yakima incorporates the mounting bolts that already are on your vehicle for a secure, snug fit. A SwitchBlade anti-sway cradle ensures proper stability and prevents bike to bike contract, protecting all of the bikes painted surfaces. Dual arms are used on the Yakima SpareTime tire carrier which work well with bikes that have larger or smaller than normal frames. The Yakima SpareTime folds down when its not in use, and all you have to do is remove it with the turn of a knob to stow it away. This durable bike rack features a powder coated steel construction making the SpareTime a safe and easy way to transport two bikes.

The Yakima SpareTime fits most lug nut patterns and can even work with tires that are off center. This premium two bike carrier uses a universal mounting plate that will not fit a spare mount with an 8-hole bolt pattern or hole-pattern greater than 5.5 inches. The SpareTime has dimensions of 3.75 inches in length, by 5 inches in width, and 6.75 inches in height. The adapter plate goes behind your spare tire to keep it safely in place and secured. This kit comes with two extensions for mounting the bike carrier on vehicles with large spares. The mounting knob is SKS (single key system) lockable hub for maximum security. The SpareTime is an inexpensive and effective way to carry your bicycles on long road trips.

Eagle Bike Rack

Discount Ramps is proud to bring to you the BC-EGL-2+2 Eagle Bike Rack, and the BC-6808-EGL-2+2 non towing bike rack! This towing hitch bike rack will transport two to four bicycles. The Eagle Bike Rack is available in a non towing version, as well. This awesome rack will allow you to haul your bikes while towing, for example, a boat, and swings down for access to the back of the vehicle. With this rack, you only have to be strong enough to lower the bikes. A ¾” hole is drilled into the frame to allow you to transport a small trailer while carrying bikes. A hitch ball is not included, and we do not recommend this bike rack to be used with 1.25 inch trailer hitches.

With a unique clamp system that support that supports many frame styles available on the market today, the Eagle hitch bike rack will safely and securely carry your bikes. The Eagle can carry two bicycles by easily removing the extension tube and then reinstalling the clamp. The Eagle’s designed clamping system is one of the most unique clamping systems on the market today. Each clamp is made of a composite material and features a ribbed soft plastic on the inside which prevents scratching of bikes. The Eagle hitch rack’s clamping system also has a locking feature designed to prevent the theft of your bicycles. Five various settings allow the clamps to be adjusted to different bike frame diameters. The non towing Eagle rack includes a ten foot long strap to secure the bikes, but does not come with the hitch hardware. The towing capacity of the swing down bike rack is a maximum of 2000 pounds of trailer weight. The Eagle Hitch Bike Rack has a 3/4th inch ball shank diameter and the swing down version also comes with an 80 inch strap that is designed to safely and securely keep all of your two wheeled non-motorized friends together. Both bike racks come with a one year manufacturer’s warranty.

Pop-Up Camper Bike RackDiscount Ramps is now offering a new bike rack system that is designed to be mounted to almost any pop up camper frame. This new pop-up camper bike rack is a one of a kind bike rack system that allows you to haul 2, 4, or even 6 bikes at a time depending on which rack model you choose to purchase. Note that to haul 6 bikes you will need to get the 4 bike model and purchase two additional front fork or tire mounts to be attached to the rack. The models that we are now offering as kits are listed below.

Two Bike Rack Systems

RVPB020-1: This is our basic two bike rack system that can securely hold and transport up to two bicycles at once. (This kit does not come equipped with the recommended tire pads.)

RVPB020-1TP: This is the same two bike camper rack as listed above, however, this rack comes with two of the recommended bike tire pads which will distribute the weight of the bikes more evenly across the camper roof and prevent the camper from getting tire scuff marks or rubbed abrasions.

Four Bike Rack Systems

RVPB040-1: This is our four bike pop-up camper bike rack that comes without any of the bicycle tire pads.

RVPB040-1TP: This bike rack kit comes with the four bike system as listed above but also includes four bike tire pads to protect your camper roof.

Bike Tire Pads

Our new pop up camper bike rack is one of the only pop-up camper racks that allows one to haul their bikes on the front of their camper without having to make modifications or drill holes into their camper which would eventually lead to leaks along with voided warranties on new camper systems. A few features that we have built in to this camper bike carrier include things like the ability to telescope the upright support beams/bars which allows the rack to fit and accommodate many different roof heights that are unique to each pop up camper. Another great feature that is built in to this bike rack is that it can be easily turned into a 2, 4, or 6 bike rack system by simply purchasing the appropriate kit. For instance if you have the 2 bike model you can purchase additional wheel holders or skewer kits to add the capacity to carry all the way up to 6 bikes total!
