The King Joe 3 provides strength and versatility – it features a durable steel construction and is compatible with a wide range of vehicles and bikes. With thick padded feet that protect your car and hubs that allow the arms to fold away, the King Joe 3 is an excellent device for transporting two or three bikes. The same style of quick trigger hubs that control the fit of the base are used to fold down the dual arms of the King Joe 3.
The Quick Trigger Hub System makes installation a snap, along with a six-strap system that is used to hold the rack securely in place. The narrow design of the arms also allow you to mount a wide variety of bike styles, while reducing the need for bike adapter bars. An integrated anti-sway (StableCradle) cradles hold the bikes firmly in place, thus keeping the bikes from rocking back and forth and away from the vehicle. Glass hatch hooks are included for those of you with glass trunks or gate mounts. The overall weight of this carrier is 16.2 pounds, and the weight capacity is 90 pounds, unless limited by some applications. The overall dimensions of the King Joe 3 are 27.5 inches in length, 21.5 inches in width, and 10.25 inches folded, and each arm measures 21 inches in length. A limited lifetime warranty is included.
