The Yakima StrapThang is not compatible with factory car rack crossbars, Thule Racks, Inno Racks, etc. The StrapThang will work with surfboard bags, and it’s highly recommended that you use Yakima Crossbar Pads for added protection between the surfboard and the vehicle’s crossbars. The straps attach to existing round crossbars, quickly and easily securing up to two boards to the vehicle. The StrapThang Surfboard straps will also work with board tags.
