Discount Ramps is proud to bring to you the Diamond Plate Cargo Boxes ARB48, for the 48 inch cargo box, and ARB60, for the 60 inch cargo box. These hitch mounted cargo carriers are made from quality aluminum diamond plating that is designed to hold everything you need to take along with you while eliminating road noise during travel. Lining the underside of the cargo box is a sturdy steel frame that connects into your two inch receiver just like a trailer hitch would. The sporty, well-manufactured design allows you to keep your supplies clean, dry, and away from the elements. The box is lightweight and can be removed easily when not in use. Weighing in at 55 and 65 pounds respectively, they are great for all your larger items. Both boxes are lockable as well, so everything inside is secure. Both of the models we offer have a 350 pound weight capacity and are available depending on what your required application is. You spend a lot of money on equipment and tools, so why not make sure they are safe?

 

The ARB48 is 48 inches long, 11 inches tall, and 21 inches wide. It works great on lighter duty pickups or SUVs. The ARB60is 60 inches long, 11.5 inches tall, and 22 inches wide. Both boxes we offer have a lockable latch mechanism that keeps your stuff safe with the twist of a key. Inside the box there are rubber flat washers that help prevent water from getting inside the box. These hitch-mounted cargo carriers are made to work with two inch hitch receivers. The lids on these cargo carriers are reinforced and have chains to prevent over-extension. Also included is an anti-tilt device to keep the carrier stable and un-wobbly when it’s attached to your vehicle.

As always, there is a one year manufacturer’s warranty.

Discount Ramps has just added a new hitch basket to our line of cargo carriers. This hitch basket is unlike any of the other carriers that we currently offer, as it is a lighter duty rack that has tall sides for hauling items that require taller support to encase the items. These higher sides are a great addition to this hitch basket as it allows a vehicle to haul items that have generally never been able to be carried on a hitch carrier in the past.  Below you will see a great picture showing one of these baskets carrying fertilizer, weed killer, and even flowers!

As you can see, this new hitch basket cargo carrier is unlike any other on the market, as this one comes equipped with 14″ sides that keeps taller items more stable for safer transportation. The carrier is specifically designed to do the job that most other carriers are simply not built for. For example, it can haul materials that normally would never be able to be hauled on a carrier ever before.  By this, we are talking about items that can’t be tied-down with any conventional tie-down systems such as plants and flowers, balls, animal decoys, and many other awkward items. We have recently added a new hitch cargo carrier system to our website that is unlike any other carrier on the market.  It is called the Take-A-Seat hitch mounted carrier.  The Take-A-Seat carrier is a 3-in-1 system that allows you to carry cargo or bikes and allows people to sit on it as a chair/bench.  When the Take-A-Seat is setup as the cargo carrier it can haul an assortment of items ranging from toolboxes to coolers or any other item that is under 500lbs (for the 2″ hitch model) and 350lbs (for the 1-1/4″ hitch model).  When this hitch carrier is setup in the bike rack position it allows for users to carry up to 3 bikes at a time.  It even has an integrated tie-down system to secure the bikes to the carrier. When this unit is set up in its last form, as the hitch mounted seat, two people can comfortable sit to enjoy a great tailgating session.
