The all-steel construction makes this truck rack very sturdy and dependable. The ladder rack easily mounts to the bed rails or can be mounted to camper shell brackets of your pickup truck making this rack great for hauling ladders, lumber, pipe, and other long items. So if you are sick of hauling larger items that just don’t fit in the bed of your truck, then the WorkStar rack is the right rack for you!
The steel pickup truck rack can hold up to an evenly distributed 500 pounds with an sturdy adjustable support system that was designed to carry anything needed for the job at hand, and weighs a mere 45 pounds. The support system of the truck rack mounts the bed rails and is designed to be 52 inches to 71 inches apart for maximum safety and stability. The pickup truck rack supports measure 31.25 inches high, and the feet of the rack are 13.75 inches long by 2.5 inches wide. The all-steel design, and 1-7/8th inch tubing provides a lot of room for whatever you need to tie down to the rack. The black powder-coat finish will guarantee that this rack lasts you for years. The rack comes with perfectly fitted plastic caps to help keep water and other debris from getting inside and corroding the WorkStar rack. The caps may be removed if you would like to add other extensions or have custom work done to it. The kit to mount to your truck comes with 2 ladder uprights and custom fitted caps that keep debris and other unwanted waste out of the tubes, as well as all the hardware to mount the rack to your truck. There will need to be some drilling to mount the kit to the top of the bed; this is a quick and easy task — you just drill 8 3/8 inch hole in to the top of your bed and mount the rack using the provided hardware. The WordStar rack, like everything else Discount Ramps sells, comes with a one year manufacturer’s warranty against defects.
