Thule Roadway 5 Bike Rack

Discount Ramps is now offering the Thule Roadway 5 bike rack.  The Thule 915XT allows you to easily load up to 5 bikes to your vehicle, all while mounting to a 2 inch hitch. This 5 bike carrier has arms that fold down when not in use, and is able to tilt away from your vehicle to providing access to your trunk and tailgate.  This hitch mount rack sets a new standard for performance and ease of use.  The Thule Roadway utilizes Thule’s Stinger Swinger hitch that converts quickly from a 2 inch receiver to a 1.25 inch receiver and vise versa right out of the box. This bike rack features Thule’s hitch switch which is a dual quick release lever for rapid, rear vehicle access. The arms of the Roadway 5 bike rack fold for storage, and the T3 cradles lock down the bikes for maximum security and safety. The Roadway 5 bike rack uses an anti-sway system, called the Stay-Put, that combines the T3 cradles and the no-sway cage accessories to stabilize the bikes during transportation. Soft rubber straps keep the bike attached to the cradles and at the same time prevent bike on bike contact. The sliding cradles adjust along the arms for perfect bike positioning. The built in anti-rattle device reduces vibration and road noise from the carrier while it’s in the hitch. An anti-sway strap, which comes included with this system, reduces movement of the wheels and handlebars while in use. Having been designed with a tray style in mind, the Double Track 990XT can transport bikes in all shapes, sizes, heights, suspension, and disc brakes.
