The Thule Helium 2 and 3 bike racks are a lightweight, aluminum constructed bike rack, which gives you the ultimate combination of convenience and functionality. These hitch mounted bike racks install easily — with no tools at all. All you do is load the rack into the hitch and tighten the receiver knob. The hitch adapter that’s included will accommodate both 1.25 and 2 inch receivers. The Thule 2 will hold a wide variety of bicycles, while still being held in place by the T3 Cradles and No-Sway cage. Easy to maneuver, the locking rack tilts away from your vehicle so you can still access your rear cargo compartment.  The sliding, anti-sway T3 cradles provide maximum security and stability against bike to bike contact. The arms can be repositioned to accommodate your different bike styles, and the soft yet durable rubber straps secure your bicycle in place. The Thule helium 2 is an ultra-lightweight bicycle rack that fits on class I and class II trailer hitch receivers that measure 1.25 inches and 2 inches. The Helium 2 bike rack carries up to 2 bikes of any kind — be it mountain bikes, children’s bikes, or bikes with fenders — this set up will hold them all. The distance from the outside of the arm to inside of the arm is 10.5 inches, and it is 8.25 inches from the pinhole to the upright bar. The Thule Hitch mount 2 bike rack can hold 2 bikes that are up to 35 pounds each safely. The Thule Helium 3 is a triple bike holder that can also hold any style of bike — from kid’s bikes to bikes with disc brakes. The Helium 3 hitch mount bike rack has a 12 inch distance from outside arm to outside arm and must be used with a class II receiver that is 1.25 inches or 2 inches. The Capacity to carry 3 bikes, up to 35 pounds per bike, is a nice feature if your whole family is going on a ride.
