The same style of quick trigger hubs that control the fit of the base are used to fold down the dual arms of the King Joe 3.

The Quick Trigger Hub System makes installation a snap, along with a six-strap system that is used to hold the rack securely in place. The narrow design of the arms also allow you to mount a wide variety of bike styles, while reducing the need for bike adapter bars. An integrated anti-sway (StableCradle) cradles hold the bikes firmly in place, thus keeping the bikes from rocking back and forth and away from the vehicle. The overall weight of this carrier is 16.2 pounds, and the weight capacity is 90 pounds, unless limited by some applications.
